By accessing or using the website at lomalindadeckandfence.com, or by requesting services from Loma Linda Deck & Fence ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or request our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors to the website and to all customers who enter into a service agreement with us, whether that agreement is written, verbal, or confirmed by email.
Loma Linda Deck & Fence provides residential deck building, fence installation, and related outdoor structure services in Loma Linda, CA and surrounding communities. Services include but are not limited to deck design and construction, composite and wood deck installation, fence installation, deck repair, deck staining and sealing, pergola installation, screened porches, covered decks, pool decks, and outdoor kitchen decks.
The specific scope of services for any individual project will be described in a written estimate or proposal provided to you before work begins. No work will begin without your authorization.
Estimates provided by Loma Linda Deck & Fence are based on the information available at the time of the estimate. Estimates are not binding contracts. A final written proposal or contract will be provided before any work begins.
Prices in a written proposal are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to change based on material costs or other factors. Any changes to project scope after work begins may result in additional charges, which will be communicated to you in writing before the additional work is performed.
Free estimates are provided at no charge and with no obligation. Requesting an estimate does not constitute entering into a service agreement.
We will work with you to schedule project start dates that fit your needs and our availability. Start dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to weather, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any changes as early as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may result in charges for materials already purchased or work already performed. The specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your project agreement.
Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins to cover materials and scheduling. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late payment fee as specified in your project agreement. We accept payment methods as specified at the time of your project.
Failure to pay for completed work may result in the filing of a mechanic's lien against the property where the work was performed, as permitted under California law.
Depending on the scope of your project, building permits from your local municipality may be required. We will advise you on permit requirements as part of the project proposal. Permit fees, when applicable, are typically the responsibility of the property owner unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will coordinate permit applications as part of the project as agreed.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If a defect in workmanship becomes apparent within a reasonable period after project completion, we will return to address it at no charge. Warranty coverage applies to workmanship and installation - it does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, natural events, or normal wear and tear over time.
Materials used in your project may carry manufacturer warranties. We will provide relevant warranty documentation for materials when available. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the terms set by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty.
The specific warranty terms for your project will be outlined in your project agreement.
By scheduling services, you represent that you have the authority to authorize work on the property and that you will provide reasonable access for our crew during agreed working hours. You are responsible for disclosing any known hazards, underground utilities, or conditions on the property that may affect the work. We are not liable for damage caused by undisclosed site conditions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a service project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific project.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
